Maulid Nabi is the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, which in Indonesia is commemorated every 12th of Raibul Awal in the Hijiryah calendar. The word maulid or milad means birthday in Arabic. The celebration of Maulid Nabi is a tradition that developed in the Islamic community long after the Prophet Muhammad SAW passed away. However, with the passage of time, Muslims have grown to commemorate each anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad SAW’s birth (Maulid Nabi) devotedly, in various parts of the world with their own diverse traditions. This manuscript consists of the following articles: Maulid Syaraful Anam which is the biography of the Prophet Muhammad SAW written in the form of qasidah or poetry and prose. Khulashat Al Mafakir (pages 76 – 140) Maulud Nabi, a narrative of the prophet’s life Fadhillah hari Asyura, the prophets offer up their prayers (pages 208 – 222).
